About Us
Station 9 in Los Angeles is among the smallest districts in the city — slightly smaller than 1.3 square miles — but has been continuously the nations busiest fire house every year. It often forces the station’s 21 first-responders working each 24-hour shift to become the main caregivers to the growing homeless population in DTLA. With growing volume and emergencies many firefighters are forced to work extra shifts but do so with unwavering bravery and positivity to help those in need making them a role model to firefighters across the world.
